Kai-Hsiang Yang is a Taiwanese composer based in New York. His first collaboration was with Brazilian director Patricia Colmenero on the documentary "You Are Invited to Leave." He later worked with 3D modeler and texture artist Thomas McArdle on the animated short "Bloom," which won the 2024 National Board of Review Student Grant Award. Following that, Kai-Hsiang composed the score for "Outside," a short film directed by Sabrina Torres. Recently, he has been collaborating with animator Gwenaëlle Du-Thumm on her project "Immémorial" and scoring the short film "God Is Not Dead," directed by Kyle Smith. Currently, he is producing and composing his music video "Turn It On" in collaboration with director Tony Hsu.
